We do not think ourselves into new ways of living, we live ourselves into new ways of thinking. -Richard Rohr

Do you want individual or couples counseling but can’t make it to an in-person appointment because of time constraints or childcare challenges? At the onset of Covid, counselors were unsure if video sessions were an effective medium for successful therapy.  However, it is now extensively realized that online sessions are very effective for providing therapy, and in some ways a better option for many clients.

I am able to provide therapy to clients via live video conferencing. This can be done anywhere you have a computer or smartphone. Because not all video platforms such as FaceTime, Skype, Google Hangout, or Zoom are safe, secure, or HIPAA compliant, I use a secure HIPAA compliant video platform through “Simple Practice.” It’s easy to use, even for those with little tech aptitude! Many of us have lots of moving parts in our lives and a busy schedule.  The convenience of telehealth sessions enables consistency so that you can complete your therapeutic process, rather than end or pause treatment prematurely.

Also, please be aware that I can only offer telehealth therapy to clients living in New York or Connecticut, as my state licensing boards dictate.
